Holiday Return Policy

Items purchased at the Oobe Online Store that are received between November 1, 2014 and December 25, 2014, may be returned through January 8, 2015. Please note that all other terms and conditions provided in the Oobe Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased. All purchases made after December 25, 2014 are subject to the Standard Return Policy.

Wireless carriers have different service-cancellation policies. Returning your iPhone may not automatically cancel or reset your wireless account; you are responsible for your wireless service agreement and for any applicable fees associated with your wireless account. Please contact your provider for more information.

Standard Return Policy

There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product you purchased from the Oobe Online Store:

  • You have seven (7) calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
  • Only items that have been purchased directly from Oobe either through the Oobe Online Store or at an Oobe Retail Store, can be returned to Oobe. Oobe products purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.
  • The product is unopened and in original saleable condition
  • A re-stocking fee will be charged (20% of Purchase Price)

There are some items, however, that are ineligible for return, including:

  • Opened software*
  • Apple iTunes Cards
  • Electronic Software Downloads
  • Software Up-to-Date Program Products (software upgrades)
  • iTunes & Gift Cards
  • Oobe Developer Connection Products (Membership and Technical Support)
  • Print Products

*You can return software, provided that it has not been installed on any computer. Software that contains a printed software license may not be returned if the seal or sticker on the software media packaging is broken.

Faulty Returns

Returned goods will only be accepted if the product concerned is deemed to be faulty by us.

All GRA's are valid for fourteen (14) working days after issue by us and you need to return the goods within this time, at your cost.

All returns will be checked on arrival with us and returns will be rejected and returned to you if no fault is found.

You will be liable for all delivery and insurance charges incurred in respect of the returned goods. Unless the return is due to an error by us, freight charges will not be credited.

iPhone and iPad Returns - Wireless Service Cancellation

How to Return An Item

Bring your item to a Oobe Store

You can always return the item to any Oobe Retail Store. An Specialist will assist you with your return. Your refund will be processed at that time. To locate an Oobe Store in your area, please refer to the Oobe Retail Store Locator.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you canceled a pickup item, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancel request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:

  • If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
  • Products purchased from the Oobe Online Store using an Oobe Store Gift Card will be refunded to you as an Oobe Store Gift Card by email within 3 business days. If you'd like us to mail you an Oobe Store Gift Card, ask the representative helping you. You will receive it within 7 business days via our courier carrier If you purchased an item from the Oobe Online Store and are returning it to an Oobe Retail Store, you'll receive an Apple Store Gift Card by email within 3 business days.

Exchange an item purchased online

There are no exchanges for goods purchased at www.oobe.co.nz. Please select your purchases, colour, size etc carefully.

If returning to a Oobe retail store, it is the managers discretion, however all terms and conditions above apply to any and all returns.
